A while back we shared what was rumored to be the cover art for Scott Weiland's upcoming "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" (due out October 4). Turns out that one wasn't far off the mark. Here's the art that's being sent to record sellers and distributors.

The Putumayo label, specializing in World Music, can usually be counted on to add some flavor to the season. This year, they turn their holiday eye to the music of the Emerald Isle. "Putumayo Presents Celtic Christmas" (due out October 11) features music by Dougie MacLean, The Albion Christmas Band, Teresa Doyle, Lasairfhiorna Ni Chonaola and many more, including a couple of tracks recorded just for this collection.
The second holiday label comp from Dream Records is due on November 1 (check Volume 1 to get a feel for their artists). And I just love their cover art.
Just got in the new cover art for "Christmas In The Mountains, Volume V". This is a local North Carolina collection issued annually to raise money for The Health And Hunger Coalition. I'm a big fan of their previous collections and I highly recommend them. All of the artists featured are local and donate their time and energy to the cause. This collection usually comes out sometime in October and we likely won't get a track list for a while yet, but the cover art has me ready to purchase my copy. Read our review of last year's "Christmas In The Mountains, Volume IV" to get a better idea of what the series is all about.
Finally, today, we have the new and improved cover art for the David Crowder*Band release "Oh For Joy". You may recall, the earlier cover art featured a reindeer with ornaments hanging off the antlers. That was nice, but this cover art likely does suit the band better. "Oh For Joy" is scheduled for an October 4 release. Read more in the Previews section.
