We're still trying to figure out what those mutants are supposed to be (I think they're supposed to be reindeer), but there's no mistaking the tree and the ugly Christmas sweaters.
In case those clues were too subtle for ya, Katy captioned the surreal vid with "When your derp squad writes a Christmas song in August" (followed by more Christmas tree emoticons).
One caveat. Katy's is the face of H&M's 2015 holiday campaign. So they could be just laying down some music for the commercials. Though, if that was the case, I doubt she'd be teasing this out the way she is. Expect even more teases in the days to come. (Favorite fan suggested song so far: "I Kissed An Elf (and I liked it)").
