This was released last October and we're just now catching up to it. But it definitely merits mention 'round these parts because Richard Poon is a singer of the old Jazz Standards, a la Michael Buble or Harry Connick. He's a crooner. And a good one. And there can never be too many of those. A Filipino of Chinese descent--which is apparently not the greatest thing to be in the Philippines--the nation has taken to him more than any singer of Chinese descent since the legendary Jose Mari Chan.
