Always interesting to see where ShiSho will surface at Christmas time.  This year, they're part of a project put together by members of The Ground Is Lava, who contacted all their Indie Rock friends to see if, you know, maybe we all get together and put out a Christmas record.  ShiSho, legendary for past Christmas efforts, do not disappoint with a cover of Weird Al's "Christmas At Ground Zero".  The Ground Is Lava give us a fine version of "Holly Jolly Christmas".  Wolf Creek gives us a suitably lo-fi depressing rendition of John Denver's "Please, Daddy, Don't Get Drunk This Christmas".  Chris Mack rocks the joint with an energetic reading of Tom Petty's "Christmas All Over Again".  And my personal favorite from the collection is a garage rock "Nevermind The Bells" from Amanda X.  Ah, that's the stuff!  The entire collection is "Name-Your-Price" at Bandcamp.  Any money raised will go directly to a family member suffering from stage four brain cancer.  But it's really about the music.  Enjoy and Merry Christmas.
