Anyway, The Snails are a new band on the scene--a side-project of two of the three members of the Baltimore Synth Pop band Future Islands. Here, again, we get sort of a retro modern sound as The Snails sprinkle some Reggae and Surf sugar on their Alt Rock Synth Pop New Wave cereal. Toss in a wailing Rock N Roll saxophone and you've got a highly enjoyable and original sound. Which is great news and a huge relief since, from the title, I was worried it was going to be a Huey Lewis parody record. Great party track from The Snails, available free via Bandcamp.
