Charmaine wowed CCM circles this year with the album "Love Reality", her first full album in 8 years it appears.  We owe this tip to Swedes Please, one of my favorite music blogs (along with Filles Sourires). The Swedish band Art Acoustic has a new Christmas song that you can download free in either WAV or MP3 format. "X-Mas In The Woods" is a nice piece of Electronic Pop with a bit of a U2 flavor. Very nice. Art Acoustic is only about a year old, but they sound to me like they've found a winning groove. While they polish they're live show, they've been posting free digital singles on their web site. Their debut EP from earlier this year, "EP#1", was a favorite on the blogosphere over the summer. You can download that free, as well, if you like what you hear.  This is just awesome! I don't have the words. An absolutely gorgeous bit of Electronica from the Norwegian duo Röyksopp. Stop by the group's web site and find out more about their music. "Le Cantique De Noel" is also available in WAV format.  Nice bit of Indie Electronic Pop from Nashville's Seth Williams (aka Details Details). The dude has a nice sense of melody and I love the harmony vocals. Details Details debut EP was released late last year, so he's fairly new on the scene; this is pretty close to the ground floor. With Seth's sense of melody and the success of Owl City, he looks to be tailor-made for a breakout. You'll find "It's Not Christmas Without Snow" on Bandcamp. Download it free. Overall, I dig these guys. Sort of a modern day Herman Apple, you've probably heard a lot of 11 Acorn Lane music in TV shows and movies without realizing it. The brilliant but canceled "Better Off Ted"? That was them. Their new CD, "Happy Holy Days" has better songs than the 3 they're giving you free ("Jingle Bells" is flat out awesome). But it should be enough to intrigue you to dig further.
