THE KISSING PARTY - WINTER IN THE PUB

Kissing Party is a Denver based indie band specializing in a kind of Twee Rock.  They frequently draw comparisons to Belle and Sebastian, primarily thanks to their focus on medodies and their overall Lo Fi sound.  Their second album, 2007's "Rediscover Lovers", drew wide critical acclaim.   And their most recent effort, "The Hate Album", was praise worthy as well.  On the band's new Christmas  single, "Winter In The Pub", they've gone for a bit more somber and sinister sound.  The record still manages to feature Kissing Party's trademark jangly guitars, but the slow tempo and the lyrics paint a much darker picture.  The song is available as a free download from
