The Low Budget Crew is a collective of Washington, DC Hip Hop DJ's and beat masters. Kev Brown is, more or less, the leader of the group and they've been doing there thing for pretty close to a decade, if not longer. Early in the oughts, they released several popular 12" including Kev Brown's "Nightfall". Then came a few full length albums and, of late, its mostly been Internet distribution. But the Low Budget Crew continues, last year releasing a very popular Christmas EP. This year, they follow up with a full length Christmas record featuring the beatflips of Kev Brown, RoddyRod and Oddisee, among others. The crew doesn't really spend much time on their web site; they just kinda let the news drop on their Twitter feed.
