SCREAMING MALDINI - AS DEWE IN APRILLE

This comes off of the NME "10 Best Free Christmas MP3's" post, but I especially wanted to point to this one.  Some of my favorite bands are from Sheffield, England.  I don't know why that is.  But this is just a wonderful track.  A perfect example of Indie at its best and how the Indie scene is just 60s garage rock all over again (for inventiveness).  Screaming Maldini is an Indie Pop/Rock band (they refer to their own sound as Quirk Core) who have been doing interesting little things like this for awhile.  "As Dewe In Aprille" is a 15th Century Middle English lyric poem that the band has transformed into an amazingly catchy progressive pop song.  Download above or get the whole NME set.
