OK. Not new, by any means. This is from 2005, in fact. But "The Licorice EP" is considered one of the classics of Indie Christmas. The Atlanta based Indie rock band Snowden came out of the gates like gangbusters in 2005 and were the talk of the Internets that year. Topping it off with a Christmas EP just seemed like the Beatles dropping one the year of The White Album. Snowden kind of slipped from prominence after that. Releases have been few. But the band has roared back in 2010, releasing the EP "Slow Soft Syrup" (with the promise of a full album ahead) and touring with Kings Of Leon.
