Hey, look, I don't know why I like the music I like when I like it. What I know is that, after listening to about 2 hours of crap that almost made me hate the holidays, this one made me smile (for assorted reasons). And I know that if the trend of our last couple of freebies continues, I'm going to have to put an R-rating on this blog.
I'd never heard of Cali Miles. She is apparently a model who posts racy pictures to Instagram and a singer of Pop Dance and EDM. She was also recently charged in connection with a drug ring in her native Ohio. But I'm not in the judgement business. Somehow, I think she'll get some kind of community service anyway (though, if she goes to prison, the selfies could be interesting). There's nothing explicit in the song or video (though plenty of suggestion). I'd say its tamer than your average Victoria's Secret TV special or commercial. Jemini is cool (depending on where you are on the web, there are 3 different spellings of his handle) and "Naughty X-Mas" has a good beat...you can dance to it. And, hey, its free. The tune dates to 2013 and is part of a free Cali Miles mixtape, "Glitterverse". You can download the whole thing or just the Christmas tune at Club Tapes.
