Roos is an Indie artist based in Stockholm (I believe). He's part of the artist roster for Hybris Records, one of the major independent labels in Scandanavia. Remember El Perro del Mar? Boy, I sure do. That was Hybris. Founded in 2004, Hybris tries to approach music as fans would and they try to push the envelope. Because when the river stops, it stagnates and dies.
"Hope" was, Roos says, written some time ago, but only just recorded. He says he envisions Christmas as a religious hippie. It's all about the Peace, Love and Understanding, Man. And, with things the way they are today, what we need as much as anything is "Hope" that we can still find that.
Today being the official release date, I'm not sure how long "Hope" will be available as a free download, so I'd grab it immediately (assuming its still free by the time you read this). It's a great Indie Pop tune and "Hope" is always a good thing. If you're curious what else Roos is up to musically, check in at Facebook. And don't forget your manners; "Like" the man, for goodness sake.
