Anyway, time to check in on the crowdfunding sites and see what's coming for Christmas...projects that you can actually become a part of through your support.
The CD is expected to be released in November, but there are a few things you can only get through the Kickstarter campaign (assuming their fundraising goal is reached)....coffee, bacon, and vinyl. Now that's a breakfast any Christmas music collector would love to wake up to. Most important, for our purposes, is the vinyl. A limited number of color vinyl LPs are being pressed and those are exclusively available through Kickstarter. Mmmm. Tasty. The coffee and bacon are among the many perks being offered in exchange for your support. If you're a high roller, you can also get a custom video or a skype concert. You've got until August 12 to kick in with your pre-orders and whatnot and, as with all Kickstarter projects, they get nothing (and you pay and get nothing) if they don't reach their goal by that date. It's only fair that you should hear Allen & Bright in action before you decide, so here's some of that "acoustic beauty" on their cover of Brandi Carlile's "The Story".
