Add Metal God Rob Halford to the list of artists coming down your chimney this Christmas. The Judas Priest front man announced his coming Christmas album on Instagram, Thursday. "Celestial" will be the Metal God's second holiday outing, following 2009's "Halford III: Winter Songs".
As with "Winter Songs", "Celestial" will be a mix of familiar songs of the season and originals...four originals to be precise. Lead single is "Donner & Blitzen". The more familiar carols include "Good King Wenceslas", "The First Noel", and "Away In A Manger". Full track list below. Release of the new album is slated for October 18. "Celestial" is Halford's first solo album since 2010. He is joined on the project by assorted "friends and family". And, yes, there will be vinyl.
