Much as I may appreciate the Maccabeats, who gave us our Third Night treat, there's no disputing that Six13 is the group that (for all intents and purposes) started and perfected modern Jewish a cappella. For 2012, Six13 (with a little help from their friends) has given us a new spin on a very traditional hymn, "Haneirot Halalu". The hymn is traditionally sung as the candles are lit each night, expressing that the purpose of lighting the Hanukkah candles is to give thanks and praise for miracles and salvations. Pick up Six13's version of "Haneirot Halalu" at iTunes or Amazon.
