As a bubblegum child, I have to admit that Chris Daily is the artist who always wins my heart. The crunchy Soul of "Gee Whiz It's Christmas" (originally done by Carla Thomas) is my fave, here, though "The Lights" has enough seasonal awe and cheer to make it a close battle. "The Claus Awakens" is Alizter James' nod to the ghosts of Star Wars (past, present and future). "Black Friday" was musically melodic until James decided the Star Wars noises needed an encore (they really didn't). And, partially because of that ending, he lost me completely on "Cyber Monday" (again, its only fair to point out what a grumpy old man I've become). Your mileage may vary, of course, but the Chris Daily tracks made this a more than worthwhile pickup for me. You'll find it at Bandcamp.
