I always keep an eye on Magnus Carlson because the Swedish Indie Rock/Indie Pop/Indie Alt Country/Indie Whatever artist loves Christmas music (well, truthfully, I don't know the man personally, but he seems to record a lot of it). And, this year, we're getting an entire Christmas album from the Magnus Carlson led group Weeping Willows, one of Sweden's best selling groups of all time.
"Christmas Time Has Come" has, I believe, just released overseas and reaches Amazon (albeit very pricey) next week. A vinyl version of the record is also coming soon.
Helen Sjöholm joins Magnus for this duet of the old Bee Gees tune "First Of May" which, I confess, I used to play on the radio at Christmas time in spite of the fact that its not really a Christmas song.
As I said, "Christmas Time Has Come" is a pretty pricey Import so I may have to settle for a digital download when it becomes available. But I definitely want this one in my collection. I mean, just look at the track list.
